OPTIONS

Learning Models

Students work through the online course content in an asynchronous self-paced experience, facilitated by a highly engaged, credentialed teacher. Using research-based best practices, teachers individually communicate with students, support and personalize their instructional experience, grade work, and facilitate overall progress and performance.

Group Learning

Live classes are held during the school day and are led by a qualified teacher who guides students through the completion of their online course.

Fully asynchronous courses are taught using our online learning platform with teachers supporting students.

For students who wish to study privately under the guidance of a live teacher, one-on-one instruction is available for course instruction or individual support.

During the School Day

Schools can integrate Catholic Education Services into the regular school schedule. This model works well when:

  • A teacher is unavailable and you need a qualified solution to keep students on track
  • Students want to take a course your school doesn’t currently offer—such as an advanced elective or 

    AP® subject—while remaining in a supervised classroom setting

Outside the School Day

Students can complete Catholic Education Services courses from home or another location beyond regular school hours. This option is ideal for:

  • Motivated students who want to get ahead or take additional courses not offered at your school
  • Credit recovery for students who need to catch up and stay on track for graduation
  • Flexible learning opportunities that fit busy schedules
